Personal information that we collect:
We collect IP addresses for system administration use and to report aggregate statistics to our present and potential business partners. We do not provide details of these addresses to any third parties.

How and why we use personal information:
If we receive permission, personal information, such as email addresses and URLs, is used to respond to requests for information and, in certain circumstances on certain sites, to provide a way that contributors can make contact with others for trading, communication, etc. We feel strongly that such communication can be beneficial for certain of our community of users. Please be aware, however, that along with the benefits there are potential risks of such communication. If you are a kid, please do not enter into such communications without your parent's permission. If you are a parent, do not give us permission to use your child's email address if you do not want your child to be contacted by third parties via email. In addition, for all of those who have given us permission to use their email addresses, please be aware that visitors to the site, including automated programs, can scan our webpages for email addresses in order to create mailing lists, or for other purposes. If at any time you want information about you removed from our site, contact us and will have it removed as soon as possible.

Why we retain information:
We retain personal information that you send to us (unless you request that it be disposed of), such as email addresses and mailing addresses, and may use this information to communicate with you (or your parents if you are a kid) regarding the use of our sites, changes or inquiries related to contributed material, major changes in the structure of the sites, etc. Such communications are done rarely. We also retain personal information to provide verification of parental permission. Information that is retained is not made available to any third parties.

Getting information about yourself (or your kid) removed:
At any time, you may request that any personal information regarding you, either online or offline, be removed and destroyed. We will do so as soon as reasonably possible. We only want to use the information about you that you want us to use.

About links to external websites:
Our site contains links to external websites that may ask for personal information. The privacy and data collection practices of these, or any sites listed on our sites are entirely separate from our own and are not covered by this privacy policy. Edge of Chaos, LLC has no responsibility for these independent policies or actions.

We like to eat them, but as a matter of business practice we do not use them. (By the way, a cookie is information that is sent to your computer from a webserver and then stored for future use on your computer's disk drive.)

Note to Parents:
Our websites are labors of love. Some are intended for kids of all ages, such as The Soccer Patch, while others may have content that you, as a parent, may find inappropriate for younger children. Please try to interact with your kids regarding their internet ventures. If you find any content on our sites objectionable, please steer your kids away from those sites that you deem to be inappropriate. We recognize that some younger children may not understand some of the information contained on the websites or how the sites operate. That is the purpose of the Privacy Statement. Please discuss this statement with your children so that they will better understand how to use our sites and the information they may be asked to provide. We strongly believe that providing our visitors with accurate and adequate notice about our websites will lead to informed choices and decisions about how to use them, as well as protecting our users' privacy. It is our policy not to collect for posting, distribution, resale, or any other third party use, personally identifiable information from children under 18 without first obtaining a parent or guardian's verifiable permission. If a visitor indicates that he/she is under the age of 18, and wants to have personal information about themselves posted on our sites, he/she will be asked to print out a permission form from the appropriate site which must be signed and returned by the visitor's parent or guardian before we will accept information from that visitor. If we receive a request to post personally identifiable information from children under 18 we will first contact a parent or guardian via email before posting such information, and get their permission.
